I come to meet with Jesus, get adventurous and enjoy great unique and special fellowship. People should come learn the talk, experience the ways so as they can walk the walk with Jesus, and encounter others who are on the same journey. 

I come to Bitternes Afloat for lots of reasons, but the main one is the amazing fellowship I can share with people I have know for a long time and a chance to share Jesus with new people too. I also like that there is a mixture of ages and experiences on Bitternes, so everyone can pass on skills but also everyone can learn something too. I also love the nature in Norfolk, it’s so beautiful and peaceful! And getting to sail beautiful boats too .

Sailing is awesome, the people are awesome and God is awesome. Simple!

Originally, I went because a friend invited me. Now I go because:

it’s fun; I love sailing; I enjoy working with, for and alongside young people; the leadership team are my friends; I get to work with my wife; the weather; the worship.
